Milk is a common drink liked the world over. All the children around the continents drink milk for good growth. It is one of the highly recommended drinks by the health advisors and medical practitioners.  This highly nutritious milk is considered the best drink for the newborns after mother’s milk. Milk provides us with vitamins, fats, carbohydrates, proteins and minerals. It is a rich source of calcium and hence is called complete food. 

Milk is beneficial in all stages, be it raw, skimmed or whole milk. The raw milk has special assimilated enzymes which are supposed to be best for calcium consumption. Skimmed milk is helpful for those who are on diet. Devoid of calories, this milk has all the other health benefitting attributes of milk. Regular drinking of milk can prevent you from the various bone diseases like osteoporosis, arthritis, joint pain, bone cancer, and pre-menstrual syndrome. Use of skimmed milk can help dilute unwanted fats in the body. Accident prone children can be saved from bone injuries by making them drink milk regularly.

Healthy teeth and gums: Tooth decay is a regular problem amongst children and adults. Lack of calcium can cause bleeding of gums. Regular intake of milk saves the teeth from decay and also restores the firmness of the gums.
